The story moved a tad too slow to give 5 stars. I also didn't enjoy her devotion to Ben 2 years after he was out of the picture. It was way over the top for somebody not ever being married or sharing a lifetime together. Just my opinion.

I don't think I knew this was an in between novella when I requested it from NetGalley. Of course, I don't think knowing more about any of the characters would have changed my opinion of this book. The story went all over the place without really going anywhere at all and the ending didn't really seem to fit the book at all. Then again, maybe I did need the context. Who knows?

Prepare for an amazing read...but be sure to keep a box of tissues close! I'm excited for the next one to come out because there was a twist I didn't see coming and I just can't wait until she is confronted with the news.
Well, I liked this a lot more than I expected. I know, it's weird, why would I read a book not expecting to like it... Well, because when the romance has sex in it, I'm much harder to please. Often the sex scenes can be offputting rather than anything else. So, this one, a huge plus for this book. I just wish it was less sex-concentrated. I mean, I get that's kind of what their relationship was about in the beginning, BUT when they did things, normal day things, I wish it was less about sex. But, in the end, I enjoyed the book and might check out some other books from the author.… (mais)
