SARAH MLYNOWSKI is an editor and a writer of chick lit and young-adult fiction novels. In 2001, she published her first novel Milkrun, which has since been published in 16 countries selling over 600,000 copies around the globe. She is also is the author of the Magic in Manhattan series, as well as Fishbowl, As Seen On TV, Monkey Business, and Gimme A Call, and many more. Sarah has also written a number of short stories and novellas, and co-edited the bestselling chick-lit collections Girls' Night In and Girls' Night Out. Whatever After #3: Sink or Swim is the third book in Mylnowski's popular Whatever After Series - which present fresh, modern spin on classic fairy tales. Originally from Montreal, Sarah now lives in the kingdom of Manhattan with her very own prince charming and their fairy-tale-loving daughters.
LYNDA MULLALY HUNT is a former teacher and Scenario Writing coach. She is active in SCBWI-NE, where she is the Director of the annual Whispering Pines Writers' Retreat in Rhode Island. Besides reading and writing, Lynda enjoys juggling and watercolor painting--but not at the same time. Her debut novel One for the Murphys is moving story about a foster child learning to open her heart to a family's love. Lynda lives in Connecticut with her husband, two kids, impetuous beagle, and beagle-loathing cat. She is now working on her next middle-grade novel.
JOHN BONK is a former musical comedy performer turned writer, who has hung up his tap shoes and devotes his time these days to "performing on the page." He is the author of Madhattan Mystery a madcap, action-packed, big city adventure which Booklist calls "a delight in every way" and gives a starred review! He has also written the comic middle-grade novel, Dustin Grubbs: One-Man Show, as well as the sequel, Dustin Grubbs: Take Two! John's short stories, poems and articles have appeared in numerous magazines including Cricket, Cobblestone, Pockets, Dramatics and Highlights for which his short story, "You Can't Judge a Book Report by its Cover" won an Author of the Month Award. He lives in a high-rise in the heart of Manhattan with his indefatigable kitty (that means she plays a lot), Dinah Blue.

Join Porter Square Books for an evening of Middle Grade fiction with three great authors.
Erin E. Moulton graduated with an MFA in Writing for Children from the Vermont College of Fine Arts. She is the author of two middle grade novels, Flutter: The Story of Four Sisters and One Incredible Journey, and Tracing Stars. Erin is co-founder of the Kinship Writers Association and is currently the YA librarian at the Derry Public Library. Lynda Mullaly Hunt is the author of middle-grade novel, One for the Murphys, winner of The Tassy Walden Award: New Voices in Children’s Literature. She is also a former teacher and Scenario Writing coach. Lynda has been Director of the SCBWI-NE Whispering Pines Retreat for six years. She runs a critique group out of her home and also maintains her kid-lit blog, Be Someone’s Hero.
