At this presentation you will not hear ancient ghost stories or legends from long ago. Instead, Rev. Gerald S. Hunter shares his investigations into modern ghost stories active hauntings that continue to this day. You may hear that “Dead Brothers Still Care” in Escanaba, and that “Amish Kids Like Cake, Too” in Montgomery. From Marshall’s “Spectral Sewing Circle,” to Milford’s “Demon in the Dark,” to the ghostly conversations overheard in old Fort Wayne, Rev. Hunter, the author of Haunted Michigan, will report on the local spirits he has found in his investigations across two peninsulas. He will illustrate his talk with photos and recordings from his research. This event is part of GR Reads – Summer Reading All Grown Up. Full schedule online at www.grpl.org/GRReads (abridle)
