I read this book via an Amazon KINDLE Unlimited down.

While this book essentially epitomizes the basic tenets of our main religions, I feel there is one Christian hymn which all this might fall into:

“O Come All Ye Faithful
Joyful and triumphant,
O come ye, O come ye to Bethlehem”

The reason I’m saying this that there’s a definite sense of joy and feeling triumphant when our desire for world peace can be seen taking shape, and when we’re seeing an increase in the humanity, we’ve got for one another. Any portion of this can only occur when individuals who are faithful to their own individual are involved.

This book is fraught with religious and spiritual messages which I believe aren’t really applicable to any one religion; this book shouldn’t be rushed through as anyone reads it in order to achieve the full intention of what the book is trying to communicate to its readers. I feel that anyone truly reading this book might experience a euphoric sense of personal growth or transformation. For wanting his readers to hopefully achieve this in their own lives, I’ve given the author, Brent N. Hunter, the 5 STARS he’s gotten from this reviewer.

This book is a balm and a treasure. I find it necessary to have thoughtful guidance on my path toward individual growth and towards a more humane society, and The Rainbow Bridge offers just the kind of guidance I need: smart, deeply compassionate, embracing of all people and possibilities, open-hearted, centered on kindness (to ourselves and others). The author deftly is challenging and supportive in just the right measures. This is a volume to turn to again and again.

In the first part of the book, Hunter defines the concept of Rainbow Bridges and the phenomenon and yearning for connection that carries it forward. The second part delves into an exploration of the principles of the concept, making connections between various other religious and philosophical teachings to show the cross-cultural universality of the principles. I really loved how the ideas are presented so beautifully and easy to understand, making the material broadly accessible and making it a model of the very open, friendly connectedness it teaches. There are 60 sections that can easily serve as daily thought meditations individually after you have finished reading the entire book. The concepts at the end of Part II are necessary reading and felt truly supportive of seekers and had direct relevance to my individual path. Part III focuses on cultivating inner peace and contains excellent meditation instruction along with other tools for mindfulness and an integration of the concept of The Rainbow Bridge, and then the book supports and challenges readers with an in-depth analysis of how we can share that inner peace outward by building a human-centered society and world politically, economically and culturally. It's rare to find an author who can first of all make all of these connections, and secondly share it all so eloquently with readers. I left the book feeling wiser, centered, purposeful and empowered.

There's much more, including inspiring quotes, resources and specific examples. In all, I am struck by the way The Rainbow Bridge synthesizes important universal principles and puts handles on them so that are easy to grasp and integrate. This is an essential read and is most definitely one to share, creating bridges of wisdom with the recipients!
