Earth Riddles (Riddle Fun) de Emma Huddleston
The idea for taking a classroom lesson vocabulary and making riddles out of the words is great. I know students would be very entertained by this book. Some of the riddles have more than one answer. I think it would be good for the author to acknowledge that in future books of the series. The difficulty level of each riddle is a very wide range. There is a glossary for some of the difficult words in the book: drought, temperate, etc.
This is a short and sweet book that is to the point about stating some facts about the human body. It has many visuals on each page to help represent and support the facts and information given. There is a slight lack of engagement because of the little creativity put into this book. It is still a great way to get the information to the kids with some help of creativity and engagement that you can include on your own. I would say that this would be best for 2-3 graders because of the language used, topics being covered and lack of creativity.… (mais)
