This is a story about aliens and demons. The main character Stan Stanislaw is a SEAL who has been trained to be a Russian Spy but he chooses not to go through with it at the last minute. So the head of the spy ring, Strekoza must come to America to convince Stan that he needs to go through with the bargain. Turns out Strekoza isn't what he appears to be and isn't really working for the Russians.

I really wanted this story to work as the premises was good but I couldn't help feeling as if it was more of a novella rather than a fully-actualized novel. So much was introduced but not discussed after it was introduced all of which could have made great stories. I also had problem with some of the editing such as at one point the author talks about Stan as his brother's father and then the rest of the time it was as a brother but I can understand the author's confusion as Stan was 55 and his brother was just in bible college so there was this huge age difference. What really confused me was that his brother was adopted to a quite a bit older couple which is very rare - that relationship really needed to be explained more.

I want to read more but I hope the author fleshed out his stories more. He has good writing style.
