While I knew this book would be dated now, I was hoping it would still have some universal tips for working with makeup in harsh lighting conditions and how it interacts with professional photography in general. Unfortunately it really didn't offer any of that. It's just a very basic makeup guide that is really dated now (holy 90s Batman!) and offers such helpful "tips" such as that heavy makeup will look heavy in high quality photographs..... duh. You can also throw basically anything it says about skincare out the window (use lemon juice and steaming hot water! .... error! error!).… (mais)
