I thoroughly enjoyed this book about the the Hillstrand brothers, Johnathan and Andy, and their crab boat Time Bandit. It was told in the firm of a flashback, Johnathan is stranded in his salmon boat for several days, facing an imminent threat at sea. John thinks about his harsh upbringing by an abusive crab captain father is n Homer, Alaska, the building of the Time Bandit, the fisherman he's know and were lost at sea. As a fan of the tv show Deadliest Catch, I was attracted to the book, even though the Time Bandit is no longer on the show. The book was a nice quick read.… (mais)

You learn how they were born into fishing and continued their father's legacy by building their own boat. You also learn a lot about their personal lives. What it takes to run a boat, hire a crew and catch crab. Pictures are included as well. Anything you want to know about crab fishing is in this book.
