Sandra Henry-Stocker

A horrible horrible shovelware book. Riddled with poor explanations, typos, blatantly wrong explanations, and incorporating zero "big picture" descriptions of how everything fits together.
I borrowed it from the library under the assumption that it might be a good quick description of some Unix tools of which I'm not aware, and it failed miserably in that role. Truth is, I'm hard pressed to think of any role in which it would not fail miserably --- perhaps the "swatting cockroaches dead" role.… (mais)
