Nira Hativa is a leader in understanding student's rating of course and faculty - typically conducted at the end of a course. She looks primarily at validity and reliability of what she terms SRIs (Student Ratings of Instruction) but commonly termed SET (Student Evaluation of Teaching). At the beginning of each chapter she address faculty concerns and myths, presents a compilation of the research surrounding that topic, then provides a summary of the chapter and how to address the faculty concerns.
