Traffic (Jaxon Jennings #6) by Richard C. Hale

Jaxon is at a race for time to help a woman (Adi) try to find her missing daughter. It is not as easy as one would think. They are up against the Russian Mob in a Human trafficking ring. Soon his moral compass is tested (as) he is faced with many tough decisions on his challenging mission to get a woman's daughter back home (safe).

An Intesne emotionally charged original thriller. With attention to detail (and) the gritty truth of the subject matter, I was pulled into a dark underworld of terror. The plot is graphic and harsh, also very belivable. The characters are well defined with engaging dialog. I was pulled in from begining to the end. I hihgly recommend Traffic to those who love a great thriller.… (mais)

Eye Strain (Jaxon Jennings, #5) by Richard Hale

P.I. Jaxon Jennings goes on a Caribbean vacation, wanting nothing but relaxation. Soon he finds his long time friend Max involved in a murder investigation. Besides his (Max) unusual behavior, he has a hidden past, which is not favorable. Now the past is catching up with Max, someone want him in prison or dead. Will Jaxon be able to help his friend, without being targeted as well.

A fast paced action filled original thrilling story. I liked Jaxon since I read the first book, and I still like him now. A page-turning thriller, with a lot of twists turns and who-done-it up until the very end. I found Eye Strain very enjoyable and feel others will as well. I highly recommend to those who love thrilling reads.… (mais)

Solid debut by self-published author that combines a bit of scifi and a fair amount of action. Characters a bit one-dimensional but author has a real flair for man-woman relationships. Looking forward to reading more from him.

Blank: Threads (A Lincoln Delabar Science Fiction Adventure Book 2)
by Richard C Hale

Lincoln Delabar AKA Blank is now a grown man, older wiser and trying to put his past behind him. But he still feels a void in his life and he can't feel at peace (with himself) until he finds her. When he does find the woman from his past he finds another surprise, one that may not be so bad.

Soon his whole life will change as he is pulled into another world, and his "anger issues" resurface. He must learn to control his violent tendencies to achieve what he is looking for. Born without a face is not easy for Blank, but he has learned to accept that. He is ready for what world throws him, but is the world ready for Blank?

A well written gripping and compelling story, with drama, action and edge of your seat suspense. I really like Blank, I loved him from the first book. Blank is a unique person with special abilities that make the story fun to read, yet so intense. I could not put it down. I was hooked from the first page. There is so much more I would love to say but I don't do spoilers.

I will say the story is very original, the characters are likable (some not so likable), the plot is intense, the writing is fantastic. I highly recommend Blank: Threads (great as a stand alone). I also suggest reading Blank, book one.Richard C Hale is one of my favorite Authors. Check out his books, he will become one of your favorites too.
