While reading this book I kept think Wow this has got to be based on someones' dream world or something since it sounded so much like some of the weird dreams I have found myself in. I especially liked the story once I realized it as kind of a second chance at life and living for good or bad. I liked the message and the writing was well done.

I received this book through LibraryThing Giveaway for my honest review.

This review was written for LibraryThing Member Giveaways.
I received this book in exchange for an honest review. I actually ended up disappointed in the book. I couldn't believe the writer didn't want to do something different. To make the main character a weak man who couldn't be satisfied with the life he had but would throw it all away for a night with his first love. It didn't take talent or imagination to portray him this way. I expected and really hoped for a different ending until it wasn't.

I had a great time reading this book. I have to be honest though. When I had read the first couple pages, the story really didn't spark me. But after I had finished the first chapter I was completely sucked into the story and couldn't get away from the book. I just had to read the whole thing. So I finished this book quite fast as I was eagerly wanting to know what was going to happen next between Lily and Samael. Lily, the main character of the story was a huge daydreamer, like myself. So I could really relate to her. She had dreamed about her future and what was destined for her, although she did not realize this. She was just a typical college student living with her best friend, Nancy, trying to just get by in life. Though Nancy often worried about her due to all the daydreaming and not really being present in her real life. Once Lily had met Samael you could tell that these two were meant to be right from the start. Their relationship is something that ever person wishes to have. Someone who you know will protect you from anything. They had a very strong bond . These characters in this book were well thought out and they all had a purpose. I do have to admit that there were a lot of spelling and grammar errors. The author tended to use " instead of ' throughout the whole book. The different points of view also changed abruptly and I had gotten lost a few times due to that. Those were my only complaints. This book is also pretty set on the Christian Religion, so if you are into the religious stories and folklore, I would highly recommend this book for you. The author did an absolute amazing job at all the scenery's descriptions and I quite often felt like I was really standing there in the middle of fields, clubs, houses, etc. I was a bit sad that they story had ended so quickly and I just wanted to read more and wanted to find out how Lily and Samael fought their ultimate battle, but I guess I will have to await the next title. In conclusion, I highly recommend this book for adults over 18, as there is some language and sexual content, Romance, fantasy, and religious book fans, or anyone that would love a nice quick and smooth read.

Please note: I have received an ARC of this eBook, from the author in exchange for a review.
