I borrowed this book from our parish library, selecting it from the shelves on a whim. It's a simple and straightforward introduction to St. Dominic "not only for historical and educational reasons, but also with a personal and spiritual intent."

As such, it's a great success. I read it in an afternoon and walked away with the impression that I actually know and understand something about the saint.
