This oversized book is a must for any Judy fan. It is full of hundreds of photos and a short biography. The main focus is taking each film, providing a cast list, running time, songs Judy sang, deleted songs, a synopsis, and reviews. However, the most interesting part was comments about each film either by Judy or others who worked on the film. So it was interesting to read about what both Astaire and Kelly felt about working with Judy. The book also has information on all the shorts Judy was in as well as the films she had been announced for and then did not make such as Annie Get Your Gun and Valley of the Dolls. While you can tell the author is a true fan of Garland, the book provides a balanced view of her life and career.… (mais)
