This is the first book I read in this series but I will be going back and reading the rest. This book is a must for all paranormal fans, it has fully developed characters and story. Well thought out and well executed.
Family/Pack. Love/Bound.
There are circumstance that exist that one must understand. To be bound is for life. Eternity. Forever. In a pack it makes them stronger and creates their family. Sometimes bound are tested by the blood of your family, the loyalties created, and then by the love you find.
Florian will be tested in more ways than one with this task he has been handed. He was the pack's negotiator. He was bound to the pack. He was destined for her. He was determined to end his sire.
Action rich. Drama found. Romance blossoming. Fangs bared. Love tested. Bounds strained.
This was very much Florian's story. He tests, struggles, determination, and restoration.
Okay, Keely was in there also, but for me it was all about Florian. Carmen Fox knows how to weave an excellent paranormal romance with action, drama, and a little mystery and suspense.

Carmen Fox’s Bound is an exciting and thrilling story. Vampire Florian is living among the Silverton werewolves and sent on a mission by the pack’s alpha to attempt a merger with a pack of female wolves. However, negotiations do not go as easy as anticipated; not to mention Flo’s sire coming back into town causing problems. Bound is told from Florian’s view point. This urban fantasy is suitable for adult audiences.
Carmen Fox does a great job with her character development. Flo has a lot of emotional issues he faces in this story and undergoes numerous changes. He has a great personality that I found amusing. I like Ivy. She and Florian have a terrific friendship. Keely is a worthy alpha. She cares about her wolves and is stubborn when it comes to their welfare. Florian’s sire Gino Dupree is an interesting character. He made a great antagonist. The plot was interesting and well developed. The story is full of action, humor, and mystery. There were a lot of things going on that tied together skillfully. The ending was well resolved and interesting. This is a great story for people who enjoy urban fantasies.
