A fine history of the 29th Infantry Division's operations in the European theatre during World War Two. This book was given to me as a gift by the son of Lt. Col. Meeks, commanding officer of Third battalion, 116th Infantry on D-Day. Full of maps and photgraphs, the book is a goldmine of information from Division level on down to individual stories. Recommended for anyone interested in how a WW2 Division got the job done in it's part in defeating the German army.
