One of the classic German unit histories of WWII. It was written by the famous count (ex-General) Fridolin v. Senger und Etterlin who served with 1st Kavallerie D before it was reconstituted as a Panzer Division. Well organized with indexes on all the officers of the 24 PD , Knights Cross Holders, and a short history of the Panther Abteilung I/24 which wasd etached from the divison and became a Army HQ unit serving as a "Fire brigade" serving with different Panzer divisons
A technical history, mainly from an engineering point of view. Interesting if you want to know technical details.
