Delightful Regency era romance reminiscent of books by Jane Austen.

Marianne is a spunky protagonist and meets her match with Phillip Wyndom, even though she tries to deny the connection between them. Her twin sister Cecily wants to snag Sir Phillip too.

I was hoping for another "Edenbrooke", but I didn't get it. It was an enjoyable read, and I read it in an evening, but it wasn't special. I think it was missing the discovery of love - it is obvious from the very beginning that Henry was in love with Kate, and that she loved him. The mystery of why they weren't together was well done and revealed slowly, but the magic just wasn't there for me.

Reading it again...

Read this in 4 hours. Felt all of the feels. Exactly the kind of fluffy romance I was looking for, with a bit of danger thrown in. Perfect Regency floof.
