Gary Dobry

Gary Dobry retired from the ring in 1998. He is the owner of Pug's Boxing Gym located in the northwest suburbs of Chicago. He is a painter and writer. Dobry studied at the Universite de Paris, earned his Diplome de Francais at the Sorbonne. He was kicked out of the School of the Art Institute of mostrar mais Chicago after having been accepted on the strength of a reference letter from the world renown Ed Paschke. He busked the streets of Paris with Chicago Blues legend, 'Bumble-Bee' Bobby Novak before returning to Chicago where his paintings came to the attention of collector, gallery owner and art dealer, Judy A.
