Ik kwam maar lastig in het boek. Op de een of andere manier kan ik het verhaal niet helemaal bevatten. De illustraties in dit boek zijn wel erg mooi!

Schattig boekje voor de beginnende lezer. De schrijfster maakt gebruik van pictogrammen van de personages en deze plaatst ze voor stukjes tekst om zo een rollenspel bij het lezen te creëren.

Little Mouse was a new read for me. Little mouse was dropped by an owl and hermit took her in as a daughter. Years went on and it was time for Little mouse to get married. When asked who she wanted to marry she replied, "I want to marry the strongest of them all" Little mouse and hermit went out to find the strongest. For example, they went to the sun, the wind, and the clouds and they all claimed they were not the strongest. They then ran into another mouse and he was the strongest ever. The two mice got married and lived happily ever after. The theme of this story would be that the best things can often found in something small. In order for something to be great it does not have to be big it can be found in little things. I think the text was lively and keeps the reader engaged. It keeps the reader engaged because we want to know who she will marry.… (mais)
