With Nicole, Ms. Daniels hits the nail on the head. The feelings of youthful insecurity and innocence have haunted her into adulthood due to a crushing blow in her past. Coming face to face with her biggest mistake and heartache as an adult brings all the hurt and anger to the surface. Wyatt has always regretted his actions in regards to Nicole. In his immaturity he worried more about image and pride and less about the feelings of others, as an adult he looks at things somewhat differently and wants to make amends. Sara Daniels' with the Bad Boy's of Regret Hollow has created second chance stories that are easy to relate to and simple to understand.… (mais)

Wounded pride and a painful breakup drove Zane away from Regret Hollow. Can the same things that caused him to leave play a part in bringing him back? Obviously Julianne and Zane had history. When the heart is involved, mistakes are made and relationships don't always end pretty. The Bad Boy's Gift takes place fifteen years after Zane's departure. Unwittingly the actions of Julianne lead to Zane's unexpected return. The Bad Boy's Gift is a story of healing and understanding. The total sum of parts does not a bad person make. People should not be judged on the past but the actions made in the present. Sara Daniel has written a beautiful story about perception, mistakes and moving forward. The Bad Boy's Goodness is full of sauciness that is intermingled with moments of laughter and hints of pain. Sometimes all it takes is to step out of our own way. What that means is that a fresh pair of eyes, an open heart and a person that is not close to the situation can present that push and brighter outlook we all need. Love Him or Leave Him is an Entangled Bliss print, which means its foundation is sweetly hometown feels. The story and characters were gently and innocently dramatic; it felt as if the author was trying to create a hybrid of Mayberry and an episode of CSI. An overflowing toilet prank snowballs into a murder conspiracy, not everything meshed perfectly. Becca was an agreeable character, if a little vague. I also had a hard time connecting with Conner and taking him seriously, a lot of the time he was the start of making mountains out of mole hills. Conner and Becca spend a lot of time together in the story, they have chemistry but it's a very mellow flame. Their shyness, lingering hurt, and wistfulness, from how their highschool relationship ended, was when they were at their most pleasant to read.
