Um, cakes with fondant frosting are not to my taste, I happen to think they look like those fake Styrofoam display cakes of yore, although the chocolate w/ polka-dots cake looked edible. But so many were down-right-scary (poisonous) looking. Gold, silver, blue, green frosting, and not just the decorations either.....

These are not easy slap-it-together last minute I need a cake now, recipes. What I found so entirely weird was that some of these things you have to prepare 3 days in advance! The complexity of the decorations discombobulated me for sure. A cake that looks like a pillow? An apartment house? A gift box w/ ribbon? thhings that can not be described?
