Resenhas

This book is great for older elementary to middle school students. This is a book of many poems, each page contains a different short story poem. In a classroom this is great to give students another example of writing and broaden their reading lists, as well as introduce the idea of poetry for them to try.

This book is great for grades 4th-7th. It is a book with a collection of poems by different authors. Each one is different and lighthearted. In a classroom this would be good for introducing poetry and other writing styles for students to use.

Summary
This book offers several great poems for children to read and have fun with. I especially enjoyed "I Woke Up This Morning". This one is about a little girl who had a bad day and wants to stay in the next day.

Personal Response
Most children and adults can relate to this poem because we all have bad days and just want to stay in bed.

Extension Ideas
1. Play jump rope rymes.
2. Create poetry excuses on why to not get out of bed.
