This book offers a broad range of information about industries and careers and the options out there after graduation. The book has 2 different sections. The first focuses on the industries that hire undergrads, and provides industry profiles for each industry, from Advertising Industry to non-profits. Each industry profile includes information about the overview of how they work, the sub-industries, the jobs that are typically open to undergrads in that industry and the current hiring outlook. The second section however, discusses a number of career areas students will find entry-level job. It includes careers as an accountant to Information technology. It is a great book to get an overall sense of how what different industries offer and the possibilities out there. However, because it was written in 2007, it does not fully illustrate the current job outlooks and projections.… (mais)
