Resenhas

I loved how honest Lily was about her experiences with eating disorders, insecurities, and dating. However, I was disappointed with this book. I had expected this amazing reading experience, but most of what she says had already been said by so many others. Also, this novel felt like less of I went on this trip and here's what I learned (what I wanted) and more of I learned things over time. Also, she repeats herself. A lot. I felt like each chapter was so similar to the last and I lost interest throughout. This took me 2 weeks to finish. It should have taken 2 days.… (mais)

I can't help but compare this book to Carrie Fisher's Wishful Drinking.
Collins wrote a more down-to-earth version of being popular.
I love that she avoided making celebrity gossips by not mentioning names.
(may write more later)

I loved it (listened to the audiobook ~roughly 4 hours long). Listening to her talk optimistically about her experience with domestic abuse, eating disorders, and proximity to addiction was incredibly interesting to hear. She and I are pretty much the same age and while most of it wasn't relatable for me personally, I didn't feel like it needed to be. I really enjoyed hearing her talk about her life so far.
