A reproduction of a 16th-century Italian Book of Hours, by the scribe Francesco Monterchi and the miniaturist Giulio Clovio. The script will be easily decipherable by the modern reader, and the illustrations are very different in style from those of the medieval period. There are extensive border illustrations.
