Amanda Clover

This is my seventh story by this author, and is one of the reasons I keep reading works by her. I mean, I've read 5 that I've rated two stars, you'd think I'd eventually take the hint and stop trying, but then I recall that not all of them ended up so lowly rated. That's a 2.57 overall rating, by the way.

So, this is a pornographic version of the Time Machine. And it's completely and utterly absurd. Well, the part in 'our' time. The lead character does not in the least make a convincing substitute teacher. That whole beginning teacher scene(s) seemed lifted from Japanese comics - which, in case it isn't generally known, seem to be obsessed with humiliating teachers.

So, yeah, story opens with a woman arriving at a school as a substitute teacher. Her first time at the high school level. Enters and learns that the next lesson, and the one she'll be teaching, involves lactation in mammals. She then proceeds to accidentally spill milk all over her top, soaking herself, and turning both her sweater and bra transparent. She flees to 'get a mop.' Finds the supply closet, which is suspiciously huge. Then finds something hidden under a dusty tarp. Instead of grabbing a mop and leaving, she immediately pulls the tarp off, sees some weird machine, sits, plays with the dials and nobs, and joysticks on it an d. . . oops now she's traveling through time.

To the time of the Morlocks and Eloi. Weird weird stuff then unfolds.

Quite an interesting story. Absurd, but interesting. In a pornography kind of interesting.… (mais)

I was reluctant to try this one, and only did because it randomly came up in a challenge. Reluctant because I knew it was one of those 2nd person narrative type choose your own adventure for adults books. And the "you" in the book was a man.

But I read it anyway. I can occasionally find some interesting stories hidden in such a situation. But not this time. I couldn't get into the story, and it wasn't just because the book kept saying that I was a guy. It was, to a large extent, more the sex scenes themselves.

As in: "She exerts just enough pressure to open her steaming flower over your sensitive cap." Your Naughty Playmate 2 - Succubus Fantasy (Kindle Locations 1686-1687). Steaming flower? Sensitive cap? Hmms, okay.

Nothing much else to say. I couldn't get into it, and the sex scenes were not the kind I could have fun with. Even the ones that involve multiple women weren't that interesting to me.… (mais)

hmms. Vaguely not want to read this one but . . .. I've liked, loved,loathed, disliked stories by this author. Let's see where this one falls.

Ok, so . . . opens with a man fondling himself while watching a crappy video showing a guy groping a woman on a bus. Or train. One or the other.

Then his head hurts. So he goes to the doctor. Has cancer. Brain cancer. Inoperable.

You . . oh, heh. I just realized, took me a while, but this is in second person. As in "You are going to live out the fantasies you have always wanted." hmms. Ok, so now I'm an old man with cancer who wants to grope women on a train. oookayyy.

Considering the story that unfolds I'm fairly certain that, at some point after getting the news that he had cancer, the guy either died or had a massive stroke. And everything that then unfolds is dreams, imaginings, fantasy. Pure fantasy. Why? Simple. There's probably about a 10% chance that it "really happened" story wise.

Especially when the guy blinks and suddenly he's on a bus filed with school girls. Two of which agree to play with him. Fantasy come to life? Or the drunken impaired fantasy-dreams of a man with, literally, a damaged brain? I doubt it's fantasy come to life.… (mais)
