It is a shame this anthology was so poorly edited.

Rejected Wolf Queen by Eliza Gayle: This STEAMY paranormal can be read in an afternoon but is spoiled by the author's inability to retain POV. 3*

Cloaked Ties by Aliyah Burke: Another STEAMY paranormal that can be read in an afternoon, this one addresses the abduction and abuse of children. 4*

Mistakes abound and the story is boring because the characters are not developed.

Hmmmm

I'm not sure how I feel about this one. Really interesting premise to it. I think I'll have to reread it a few times to figure out exactly how I feel.

This is fucking dark. And trust me, I know from dark. And I definitely know from dark Omegaverse. Ivy Chapman has created an Omegaverse world that is dark, terrifying, and twisted.

Arden and Seraphine are twins. And they are both Omegas, which are very rare. In their country, they are barely considered people, because all Omegas are good for is breeding, and oh yeah, torturing. So they hide.

I like the title, because it describes the story in so many ways. It's an intense title for a very intense story. There were times when I didn't feel as if I could catch my breath because of what was happening, and how Sera and Arden were feeling.

I can't wait to see where Ivy Chapman takes us next, because I'm pretty sure it's going to be a serious ride, and not one that I want to avoid.
