About the Author
Kiera Cass was born in South Carolina in May 1981. She received a bachelor's degree in history from Radford University. She self-published her first novel, The Siren, in 2009. In 2014 her title, The One made The New York Times Best Seller List. She is the author of The Selection series which is a mostrar mais series of five young adult novels set in the fictional country of Illéa, formerly the United States. The books are about a competition known as The Selection, where citizens of Illéa compete for the current king's heir in marriage.The Crown, part of the Selection series, was published in 2016. Controversial opinion but Eadlyn >>> America.
Eadlyn has so much character growth throughout her two books. She will drive you crazy at the beginning with her attitude, but then you start seeing slow changes in her and it is all worth it.

While this book is too short, I do like who she ended up with.

I think it it time for a pro and con list.
Pro:
Squeaky clean
They got married (unlike all other ya which says, “no marriage/marriage is bad”. I still don’t get that.)
Retelling of Ruth and Naomi

Not much personality
Insta-love (although it was not as bad as normal)
Silas and Hollis hardly knew each other. Seriously, they NEVER talked.
