Enjoyable story.

Interesting slant on the dystopian genre. It takes a very quick and sharp veer from the opening and moves along nicely with lots of action and tense situations. I'm going to read the other two in the series.

After reading more than 100 pages, I was still waiting to get to a plot. Gave up and did not finish.

A novella full of questions: a prequel setup for future answers. Maybe there wasn't enough context explained to get me interested enough to continue the series, but it did put this author on my radar.
