Tanner and Caleb, fire-fighter and single dad,.hot and hotter. New author to me but I liked this story, hoping we get to read more about The Wilds and the interesting characters we met in this read. Twists, intrigue, love and family.

Was loving this book and then the manager (and dead fiance's twin) appeared. What a manipulative bitch. She was no friend to Sebastian and I would not have been so quick to defend her.
What that meant was that there wasn't enough time with Sebastian and Marty at the end. I'd have liked to see Sebastian woo Marty because Marty caved way too quickly. A whole chapter of Sebastian leaving Marty little gifts that meant something to them (a welcome parcel, a salad for lunch, a can of pawpaw, some wild flowers, a sketch of two) before Marty finally loses it and races into the grocery store behind him and demands when he's going to appear in person.
Yeah, as you can see I've given the ending a lot of thought. But before that the story was lovely. Adore Marty and his enthusiasm and the way Sebastian was powerless to resist him.
Really enjoying this series.

I've been enjoying this series but while this book was okay I have to say it was my least favourite so far. Adam was a hard person to like for a lot of the book and even once his reasoning became apparent and I started to have a bit of sympathy with him I still found him overbearing and quick to fly off the handle. And his reaction to his Mum's mini stroke was so ridiculous and over the top. I didn't feel like I got to know Ben at all, and as such I found it hard to feel any chemistry between the two of them.
But most of my dislike as reserved for Adam's mum, she was a character we'd met before, Henry and Billy's babysitter, but she was childish and hateful to her own child. I couldn't understand it.
So, yeah, not the best of the bunch. Oh, and the writer of this one kept getting Seb's name wrong, calling him Sam at least twice. That book came out a week before this one, you'd think the author could get the guy's name right...
