Einem Buch das schon im Titel deutlich macht, dass es um Bücher geht, kann ich sehr schwer widerstehen, und als ich die Synopsis dieser Neuerscheinung las, musste ich sie einfach kaufen. Immerhin gibt es auch einen historischen Kontext. -- zumindest dachte ich das.

Das Buch hat mich nicht enttäuscht. Es ist die perfekte Sommerlektüre mit dem richtigen Mix aus Spannung und Romantik, denn natürlich darf eine Liebesgeschichte nicht fehlen.

Im Grunde gibt es keinen wirklichen historischen Kontext, will sagen, aus der Zeit Clarices erfährt man nicht viel, aber letztlich geht es auch nicht darum, sondern um den Lebensweg zweier Frauen in sehr unterschiedlichen Epochen und Umständen.
Nicole Engeln als Sprecherin war sehr gut, durch ihre Darbietung war die Lektüre noch mal kurzweiliger.… (mais)

I like it when a book is so interesting that you can't put it down, even though I had to. I love everything about this book, the plot, the characters, the premise of the story. I picked this book from the library last Friday because of the book cover and the summary.
Each chapter has the name of a fragrance, and its medicinal and psychological remedy it.
It is a story that explains a little bit about perfumes interestingly.
Cristina Caboni's writing is very magical, and I am looking forward to reading her other books.
I want Elena to make my personalized perfume after reading this page-turner, even though I know it is impossible because she is not real.
If you like chick-lit with a subject like the making of perfume, I am happy that I returned to the library, and the first book I picked up is a five-star one.… (mais)
