If you know and care absolutely nothing about art, and you’re looking for a bear shifter fated mate sexy times story, then you’ll probably love this. The editing was fine, and it was free, so I’ll give it 1.5 Stars. But it was just SO stupid!

Spoilers ahead, not that it matters. It’s all completely predictable anyway...

1) Never mind the quality of a children’s watercolor set. The brushes...there is NO way even a person with natural talent could pick up one of the crappy plastic bristled things and paint anything worth buying. Also, you cannot watercolor a snowscape without masking fluid. It’s not...you just can’t. And, “layers” of paint? That’s what you do with oils, but not watercolor. Ridiculous.

2) No DA who won 100 cases and lost one could be fired. She’s a LAWYER, and she doesn’t question the decision, she just runs off. Insane.

3) She sees him shift, and freaks out, and he’s just going to let her leave? Without even exacting a promise not to blab? And, his brothers don’t seem concerned about this at all? Protecting their secret? Unbelievable in the extreme.

The relationship with her parents was miraculously turned around in a few weeks of nothing. Her career as an artist was booming in the same time frame, and she’s moved to Montana and engaged as well? Pfft. Also, the resolution to the big court case was a big dud. Resolved in a paragraph. Wag wah waaaah...… (mais)

Even though it has been several months since Gwen's attack, she is still terrified of leaving the den. The forests are unsafe, unsafe for everyone. Akila, the healer who is training Gwen, is trying to get Gwen to venture farther from the den and she finally does when the Beta from the Dark Moon Pack comes needing help for his Alpha, Nosh. It is all Gwen can do not to turn around and run back to the den, but someone needs her help and that someone is Nosh. She has thought about him a lot since she had met him, but no one, especially an Alpha, would want her for a mate. She is just to damaged.

Nosh is severely injured, but he doesn't remember what happened. The logical answer is he lost his footing somehow and fell down the cliff. Seems unlikely, but what else could have happened? Akila and Gwen are there to take care of him. He is happy to see Gwen again, he just wish she didn't have to see him being so weak.

Gwen and Nosh start to become friends and a bit more. Nosh doesn't want Gwen to leave. It takes him a while, but he finally realizes that Gwen is his mate. Gwen just wants to go home, back to the Silver Creek den. She just doesn't feel safe anywhere else and with good cause.
