I actually give this book 3.5 stars out of 5. I read this one for a group read and although it was not a book I would normally pick up, I did enjoy it. The main characters are 5 women. Bernice, her two blind adult twin daughters, Eva and Ava, and Violet and Rose. The men in the story are all portrayed very negatively with abusers, drug addicts and alcoholics but that is how the women all come together. It was a quick read as once I got into the story it carried along quickly.
