St. Thomas More of London Town is a biography of Thomas More written for older children. It starts off humorous and showing the everyday family life of the More household through the eyes of their pet monkey, but just as the events of More's life grow more serious, so does the story, which follows More to his execution and beyond. It is a story well-told, and the excellent writing is supported by quality illustrations. Highly recommended for anyone with an interest in More's life as told from a Catholic perspective.… (mais)
