This classic book has been republished in a paperback edition (2011) with a new foreword and tribute to the author by Terri Shea, who maintains that "Norwegian Knitting Designs [published in 1929 in Norwegian] almost single-handedly preserved the old designs" and ensured craftspeople's awareness of them throughout Norway, and after the 1965 English edition appeared, around the world.
