Hilarious, rhyming, nice picture book. Historical in tasks, good for the autumn-turning-to-winter season.
It is a good realistic fiction because it shows the readers the daily life of a housewife in the midst of fall and winter. From the lady's behaviors, I learnt her good quality of working hard. And the ending that the husband is sitting in the rocking chair is a big contrast to what the lady is doing, which is humorous and exposes/ uncovered the essence of their marriage.
A great illustration about the work women have done over the centuries without receiving any credit. Funny ending.

Miss Jaster the nearsighted piano playing gardener shares quiet companionship with her garden hedgehog. It is a very sweet story.
