Clarice Black

This was a pretty good book! It was my first time reading this author and I can honestly say that I will be reading more of her books. The story centers around the Hallow Church located in a small out of the way town called Castle Combe located in England and the church has a past of harboring all kinds of evil atrocities that was performed on its grounds.

A woman lays on her death bed dying from cancer and as she is dying she speaks the name of the church to her three daughters, but that is the only clue she gives about the church which is located in the woman's hometown of Castle Combe. Her daughters decide to pack their bags and go to their mother's hometown to possibly buy the church to turn it into a care center for children.

Little do they know that the church is known in that area to be haunted, but they soon find out the hard way, that not all churches are holy. This was a page turner and I finished it in one sitting! Giving it four stars for keeping me glued to its pages!… (mais)
