Sondrae Bennett

I really liked this book starting out, but the ending was kind of weak. But it was still a good read. The only thing is that when all is revealed, it was kind of hypocritical for Amber to be mad at Danny for lying when she was the one who was undercover in the first place. I've enjoyed this series so far and can't wait to see who Laurie is mated to. She's a real character and I'm sure her mate is going to have her hands full with her. And I can't wait to see what kind of cub/kit/pup or whatever Jason and Samantha have.… (mais)

So far, I think this story has been my favorite in the series. Which is strange because I didn't think I'd enjoy a step away from Alpine Woods to deal with the fox shifters. But it was all tied together through the danger introduced to Julie in the last book. It started out kind of slow, but once I got into it, I didn't want to put it down and stayed up well past my bedtime to finish.

It was strange how Cody didn't recognize Misty as his mate for so long. But when he did, it all fell into place for him. There were some really LOL moments. Like when she adopted the abandoned baby fox and he was like "what is that?" That was a pretty funny scene. And the scene he had to teach her to fight. That was pretty hilarious. And I loved how the ending leads up to Danny's book.… (mais)
