Seeing as this is my great uncle, this story is close to my heart. It is a gut-wrenching story about great courage under extreme oppression, and Mendel Beilis's demand for a fair trial above all else. And in case you think these anti-semitic themes are outdated, I'd like to add that despite indesputable evidence provind that the murder in question was committed by another person, many people back in Russia still believe Beilis is guilty. Read this book and see the truth.
