This is a unique look at the letters to the 7 churches in Revelations. I was anxious to begin reading it when I received, but then life and motherhood crowded it out and it found it's way to the to-be read pile on my desk. When I finally got to sit down and delve into it I was introduced to the heart of Jesus. Never had I seen these 7 letters explored in such a loving and thoughtful way. Truly in reading this book one can see the deep love and compassion of Jesus for his people. The powerfully poignant book takes the reader directly into the very heart of a God who loves unconditionally and like any parent wants the very best for His children. This Jesus that religion has segregated to a fixed position in our lives desires more than anything to walk in close, intimate fellowship with His children. So many of us have been brought up to pray to an abstract God, to believe that He can do anything without that true trust that floods the soul like warmth and fire when it is finally experienced. Jesus wants to be more than just the distant God of religion, He wants to indwell His believers, to empower them to greatness, to push them to excellency, to make them more like himself.

Open this book and experience Jesus in a new way.
