About the Author
Johanna Basford was born in Scotland. She is a illustrator and ink evangelist. She graduated from Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art and Design in Dundee with a degree in Textile Design in 2005. Basford's works of illustrations is widely recognized and can be found diversely in products such as mostrar mais wallpapers, beer bottles, and even tattoos. Basford owns her own little studio in a converted farm in the country. She works for Sony, Starbucks, Chipotle, Absolut Vodka, and The Edinburgh Festival Fringe. Her book titles include Secret Garden and Secret Garden: An Inky Treasure Hunt and Colouring Book. Lost Ocean: An Inky Adventure and Coloring Book for… de Johanna Basford
This book was way too long for the story. It felt like too many twists were added. By the time I got to the end there were characters in play that I couldn't remember how they related to the story. At the 50% mark I took a break and realized I was only half way through but it felt like we had reached the reveal point. The motives didn't make sense at all, and keeping the main characters scandal a secret was more annoying than suspenseful.

I really can't draw. Like have tried so many times with books and courses and .... nope.
This book is perfect for me - I just want to be able to add cute detailed patterns and drawings to mail, and I love botanical details. Such a sense of achievement managing to recreate some of these designs!
