CAMP OUTLOOK is a novel about faith, disappointment, love, and summer camp. Shannon is angry about events in her life and is struggling to find meaning in an apparently uncaring universe. Her camp experiences help her understand that the world is much more complex than she once thought.

Without becoming preachy or heavy handed, CAMP OUTLOOK invites readers to think about their own attitudes and actions. Readers who read a lot of realistic, problem-based fiction may assume they know how the story will resolve, but admirably, the text holds a few surprises.
