About the Author
Nathan H. Azrin, PhD (1930-2013), was the father of four children and a leading authority on the psychology of learning. He received his PhD from Harvard University, was a lecturer at Harvard's Psychology Department, and published more than 100 studies in the field of learning and psychological mostrar mais treatment. Richard M. Foxx, PhD, is the father of two children, both of whom he toilet trained. He is Professor Emeritus of Psychology at Pennsylvania State University, and an adjunct Professor of Pediatrics in the Penn State College of Medicine. In addition to publishing ten books, he has written more than 130 scientific publications. Toilet Training in Less Than a Day de Nathan Azrin
Desperately needs to be updated. I decided to be on top of the potty training thing(instead of woefully behind, like I was on the sleep thing). 3 stars for decent ideas. One star for incredibly outdated language.
If you want to insult the intelligence and diminish the dignity of your child, by all means use this method.

The only scientifically-tested rapid toilet training method, this one gets gimmicky in places but it seems plausible that it could work. It’s designed for children who have not started potty training at all, but even those like me who have been futzing around with it might find some useful ideas. It’s not necessarily less effort than the more common slow method—it just concentrates that effort, which many parents might prefer. Designed for children who are almost, or over, age two.… (mais)
