I was given this book to read through We Love YA Books ARR for an honest review, thank you.

I was going to write a long review about this book, but I found another reviewer named D.M. Dutcher, who pretty much said everything that I would have said. So I will just point you in the direction of his excellent review:

I may come back to add a bit more to this review later, but pretty much this is it.

I will say that this book was very annoying at many points. There was a lot of drama, screaming, yelling and fighting and I had to put the book down many times because it was driving me batty. In the end the only way Amelia got any control over her life was to turn as vicious as Mitchell with her own power. I find the message this book sends to young adults that power and control is the way to behave in a relationship very disturbing. I would not recommend this book to young adults at all. I give this story 2.5 stars rounded up to three just for the unique idea of the connection between the soul's and how that works.

I really liked this story about Liv, a witch, and Jaxon, a demon. Liv broke up with him because he kept a secret from her when he didn't tell her that he was the Prince of Hell. She felt she couldn't be in a relationship with someone who didn't trust her. Jaxon wanted her back and thought he would be able to prove it to her at the Halloween party in Hell. Even though Liv doesn't want to go because she knows Jaxon is too big of a temptation for her she can't say no to his little sister, Suzie, when she says she missed Liv and asks her to go to the party.

I loved the characters in this short story. Jaxon messed up as men often do. The way he attemps to explain why he messed up is comical. Liv was a strong woman who believed Jaxon lied to her and broke up with him even though she still loved him. She was also very kind to Suzie by going to the party even though it was hard for her to see Jaxon again. Jaxon's father gave him some fatherly advice and even with him in demon skin it was believable.

This is a well written short story that takes place at a party in Hell. Even in so few pages I could picture the characters and feel the love between this couple. The descriptions of the locations and characters was fantastic. I especially liked reading about the green-scaled demon.

If you want a quick read to get you in the Halloween spirit, you should read Halloween in Hell. It's great.

Victoria Clarke has it all. A loving husband, beautiful house and a successful career as a romance writer. Except her life with her emotionally abusive husband, Richard, isn't as wonderful as it looks. Even though they have only been married a couple of years their marriage is not going well. Richard ignores Victoria most of the time but when he does talk to her, he's very critical about her weight and looks.

While doing research for one of her books, Victoria sees a prisoner pen-pal website. She wrote to Joshua Larsen who was charged with murder. This starts the exchange of letters, telephone calls and eventually visits. As the two get to know each other, Joshua boosts Victoria's confidence in herself which is easy since he has developed strong feelings for her.

I loved this unusual romance. By reading the letters Victoria and Joshua share we find out so much about them and their growing feelings for each other. And the phone calls. Wow! They are hot!! It's easy to see how a couple can fall in love without having a physical relationship. The smooth writing style made me feel the connection between this pair. I loved the way we saw how Richard looked so wonderful but was really a jerk and Joshua, in prison for murder so should have been the bad guy was really fantastic.

This book has great characters. Victoria is strong enough to stand up to her husband and leave him in order to have a better life. Joshua is a good man who didn't stop living just because he was in prison. He was kind and giving to Victoria helping her see the wonderful woman she was.

I highly recommend this romance with it's unusual plot to all romance readers.

Deadly Trilogy is about Jade and Aidan who live in a town where werewolves live openly. Jade doesn’t like the pack or anything about it. She has a strong personality and will not back down from anything which means she is always annoying someone – usually someone from the pack. Aidan, the Alpha of the pack, is assertive, extremely good-looking, and attracted to Jade. Jade doesn’t know he is the Alpha and Aidan doesn’t know how much Jade hates the pack. This leads to some pretty interesting situations for them.

The character development in this series is quite in depth. I felt a connection with the characters because they were so well developed in this trilogy. I like the way Stoyanoff put her own distinctive slant to the werewolf legends.

This series is very well written making it easy to picture all the events taking place. I liked the way Jade and Aidan's inner wolf was addressed as if it was a separate being. The author brought some romance into it which I enjoyed. It didn't overpower the story but it was nice to see that there was some feelings between Aidan and Jade, not just pack business.

This was a great series that I really liked and highly recommend.
