It's been over 20 years since I read this fine autobiography, but it still resonates with me today. I knew of Paul Anderson before this reading, of his reputation as a weight-lifter and humble man, but now he's become more of hero to me. He was fascinating, inspiring, and lived his Christian values in a very real and tangible way. I enjoyed learning more about his development as an athlete--as a fantastic athlete, arguably becoming the strongest man in history. But, what really mattered is the legacy he left as a teacher and father figure to the troubled young men he mentored through his Youth Home.… (mais)
