This was my first time reading a book of comic strips. It was shockingly similar to just reading the Sunday funnies. :P I am enjoying Pearls Before Swine on the recommendation of a friend. It's strange how Pastis is so hit or miss for me. Either I love his strip or it does nothing for me. There were some funny ones in this volume, though there were also some dreadful ones. *crickets* I am looking forward more to the Ratvolution. At least there weren't any alligators in the book. (
