The idea of divine beings, some of whom may not even realize they are divine, walking among us is not unique to Judaism, but this particular story line uses Judaism. The story is more in line with Chopra trying to have us realize and use our unique abilities and to try and rise above our everyday lives.
Similar in scope to Redfield's Celestine Prophecy series, but with a different hook in the story. In my BookCrossing review I said this can be a life changing book if you open yourself to the message. I stand by that. (
