Volume 1 jumped around too much between past and present, so it got a little confusing for a starting point. I really liked the storyline set in the past, and I wish there were more of it. Plus, with little to no explanation of what happened in between settings, I had no clue what was going on half the time. Promising enough to read the next few volumes, but not a great start. ( )

Nor particularly impressed. Degenerates into God on page 20. Not planning to read Volume 2.
