I have to admit, I was not exactly thrilled with the character development of Lucian and Diana. In the beginning, they seemed childish and selfish, but with hopes of redemption and learning. Instead, they turned even more awful. I was glad to see the balancing out with a "bad" witch (Jean) but honestly, her appearance seemed to be rather formulaic. Morag and her transformation were a wonderful plot twist. Overall, I'd give it three stars. sem resenhas | adicionar uma resenha

There is so much to think about here. There's one big reveal about the origins of the Inquisitors that broke my heart, no matter how evil they are. And they are, especially the Witch's Hammer. Fae, witches, and humans learn to live together with some interesting reveals about the House of Gaian.
I'm glad I reread this series. It has some interesting parallels to what's happening in the world today and the role of women. ( )
